Barry Sheinkopf, a writer, editor, and teacher with an unabashed passion for high-quality examples of the written word, has agreed to offer the South Jersey Writers Group a sample class, similar to the ones he gives at The Writing Center, a seminar-based program geared to reaching adults–from novices to seasoned professionals–and helping them advance on the journey to becoming the best writers they can be.

He has agreed to edit and discuss up to 500 words from the first seven of our members to take advantage of this opportunity. It will give them–and the rest of us–the chance to see how a seasoned editor can improve work and make it shine. He’ll also share the art of writing that will make us all better at what we aspire to do. Come expecting to be inspired.
