South Jersey Writers Group is having its first virtual Open Mike Night on Friday, August 14 at 7:00 PM.
Similar to past live events, participants will have up to ten minutes to read.
Poems, short stories, novel excerpts, short skits, essays, songs, rap, all are acceptable.
Please respond if you would like to join us for what we expect to be a fun evening. As during past events, joining this event as an audience member (without any plan to perform/read) is both acceptable and encouraged. To participate, kindly sign in to MeetUp, RSVP Yes for the event, and add your own note to the Comments section if you would like to read.
WE HAVE READING / PERFORMING SPOTS OPEN As of Tuesday Night 8/11.
The event is expected to last for approx two hours, so the first twelve to fifteen volunteers to read should be able to do so. Again, to attend, please respond to this announcement on MeetUp, and kindly advise in the comments if you would like to read.
