South Jersey Writers Group is having its next virtual Open Mic Night on Wednesday August 18 at 7:00 PM. And, yes, we’re again trying a night besides Friday.
Similar to past events, participants will have up to ten minutes to read. Poems, short stories, short skits, songs, are all acceptable.
The theme for the event is ‘Summer Romance’, and works involving the theme are encouraged, but not required. As before you can read whatever you want.
Please respond if you would like to join us for a fun evening. As during past sessions, joining without reading is acceptable and encouraged. To participate, kindly sign in, and reply with a separate note if you would like to read. The event is expected to last approx two hours, so the first twelve to fifteen volunteers to read should be able to do so.
